Timothy Charles Browne is the author of One Night with Rael (Ars Nova); The Erotic Diary of Anne Frank (Studio 42 at Classic Stage Company); and The Most Lamentable and Tragical Historie of the Barber-Surgeons (Studio 42 at the Peter Jay Sharp Theater, Playwrights Horizons), along with a host of short plays.

His work as a performer includes creating the role of Davy Jones in the World Premiere of the Monkees parody musicals Here We Come… and Here We Come… All Ye Faithful (Celebration of Whimsy Theater and the 2014 Monkees Convention at the New Jersey Meadowlands); being a featured contestant (and winner) on the reality show pilot “American Treasure;” the titular character in Ben Holbrook’s short film “Underpaid Narrator;” and multiple roles in the world premiere unauthorized stage adaptation of Tommy Wiseau’s The Room (Public Assembly, Brooklyn). In addition, Timothy works as a freelance dramaturg and script reader, has written interviews for DailyBrink.com, sold a few unproduced screenplays, helped produce Death of a Salesman in Kathmandu, Nepal, and has lectured on theatre and film at Dowling College and SUNY Stony Brook.

Tim is the co- creator and host of Monday Night Fan Fiction, a reading series which ran for 4 years at Fontana's, and has also been seen at Upright Citizens Brigade, The Slipper Room, and way too many other venues to name.

In his spare time, Tim enjoys searching for Co-Star records (look them up, you’ll thank yourself), pickling things, comic books, and collecting very silly art. He is currently working on a podcast and a screenplay about, what else, superheroes.
